While applying for a Russian visa, you might have submitted your invitation letter and other documents, however, a cover letter would also be handy for a successful Russian visa application.
A cover letter is a simple document with detailed information regarding your trip. A well-written cover letter increases the chances of the visa getting approved. A cover letter should begin with an introduction. The introduction outlines what the letter is about. It gives the reader an overview of your application and makes it easier to understand. The next part is the body of the letter which contains the purpose of your visit to that particular country. You will also state your reason for choosing that country, what activities you have planned during your stay, and how long do you plan on staying.
You should also include in your cover letter that you do not have any intentions of migrating to Russia but would return on the due date. Financial information should also be included with proof as it is necessary for the funding of your visa and travel expenses. Other information like travel history, work and employment information, as well as why other information you think will be necessary for the success of your visa application. Introduction
My name is Albert K. Taylor and I am writing this letter to apply for a Russian business visa. I intend to depart from Canada to Russia on the 23rd of August for a business trip and departing Russian on the 6th of September 2021.
I will be traveling for a series of business meetings with the board of directors of Chanel Home Centres located at Homans vei 217, 1365 Blommenholm on behalf of Mr. Steak Enterprises. This trip will include business meetings with the board of directors, presentation and pitching of contract to the board of directors for Chanel Home Centres, signing of contract deal, and finally my return to Canada.
Mr. Steak Enterprises, which is the company I work for as a travel agent for the last five years will be responsible for all my financial requirements. You will find attached to this letter a reference letter from my company as well as other employment information that might be useful for this application.
I will be returning to Canada on the 6th of September 2021 immediately after the completion of my official duties here in Russia. You can be rest assured that I do not intend to migrate to Russia as I have a wife, children, and a job to return to in Canada.

My name is Gabriel Sousa Cavalcanti and I am a Brazilian citizen with western Union tracking number 41333374476. I’m writing this letter in support of my visa application for tourism in Russia. I am my daughter, Vitória Cavalcanti Barbosa would like to visit the beautiful sites in Russia during our 7 day vacation. Pending the approval of this application; we are set to depart Brazil on the 1st of September and return on the 8th of September 2021.
Our main purpose of visiting Russia is to experience the he beautiful sights and feel of Russia alongside its rich culture and amazing people. My daughter has been intrigued since she saw a move about Russia, and I thought it would be a great idea to bring her to the place of her fascination.
I have worked at Prahject Planner in Brazil for five years as a Health Care Executive and I am solely responsible for all our financial requirements throughout this trip, including travel expenses, accommodation, car rental, medical and emergency bills.
Vitória’s mom and I are separated, however, you can find attached to this application a consent letter from her mother, Fernanda Pereira Lima, granting me permission to take Vitória on this trip. Other supporting documents attached to this letter includes; a copy of my ID and Vitória’s, financial statement for proof of financial sufficiency, travel tickets, accommodation details including the name and location of the hotel we’d be staying at, a letter from my office confirming my leave, and a tourist guide from the travel agency listing all the activities I and Vitória will be having throughout our stay.
